Chasing Coral Movie Screening & International Coastal Cleanup Day

The biggest story of our changing climate is hidden beneath the ocean's surface. We are teaming up with REI and Surfrider Foundation to promote healthier beaches and raise awareness surrounding the ongoing struggles our oceans face. We'll be showing a free screening of the award winning documentary "Chasing Coral" on Thursday, September 19th at the Hermosa Beach Community Theatre. Doors open at 6pm with pizza and drinks. Stick around after for a Q&A with Surfrider’s Bill Hickman and an adventure gear raffle.

To follow up, later in the week we are partnering with Heal The Bay and Surfrider Foundation for a beach cleanup on International Beach Cleanup Day. Help us make a difference and join us on the southside of the Redondo Beach Pier on Saturday, September 21st for a beach clean up followed by a vendor expo with demos, games, and clinics with some of our favorite adventure brands. Park in the Redondo Pier parking structure or the Veterans Park parking lot and meet us under the HippyTree tent. We'll be starting up at 9am. Hope to see you there!
