Where was the image shot?
Mount Whitney, California shot from the town of Lone Pine.

Was there any special preparation required to capture the photo?
Waking up early was the only preparation required. We spent the previous day climbing in the Alabama Hills and stayed in Lone Pine for the night. I realized the morning view of the mountains would be really cool, just that I didn’t know I would get to see Mt. Whitney as it was largely cloudy the day before. I woke up early nonetheless and was rewarded with this beautiful sight.
How long have you been shooting?
Since I got this camera in 2016. So, almost 5 years now.
What's your favorite subject matter to shoot?
I love to shoot pretty much everything. I have been doing more landscape, outdoors and adventure photography the last two years.
Where would be your dream location to take photos?
Alaska would be really cool.
Who are some photographers that inspire you?
I think photographs inspire me more than photographers. But Jimmy Chin, Nolan Omura, and Chris Burkard are some that come to mind.
What excites you about photography?
I think photography is such an amazing way to tell stories. The excitement I get through experiencing the outdoors and the desire to share that with others is what keeps me clicking.
