Monument Valley, UT.
What camera did you use and what were the settings?
Camera: Canon 6D
Lens: EF 24-70mm f/2.8 II USM
Shutter Speed: 1/160'
Aperture: f/9.0
ISO: 100
Was there any special preparation required to capture the photo?
Yes. In order to photograph lightning, having a tripod is a must. I also had my intervalometer connected. It helped with getting the right moment quickly.
How long have you been shooting?
I started my photography in October 2016 so it's been a little over two years.
What's your camera of choice?
Right now I am using the Sony A7rIII and I love it.
What’s your favorite subject matter to shoot?
I love mountains and glacial lakes the most. But I would take photos of anything that is interesting and looks beautiful to me, especially nature.
Do you shoot with a crew or shoot solo?
I usually shoot with a crew. I love sharing my adventures whether with friends or family. I am all about the experience.
What excites you about photography?
Story telling. I love how a photograph can tell story without words and that excites me the most.
