Camera: Canon 5D Mark III
Lens: Canon 24-70mm

Aperture: f/5.0
ISO: 100
Was there any special preparation required to capture the photo?
Actually the only preparation was being there. I had hiked in about 7 miles and was checking things out when I kinda popped out of the trees and this scene was right in front of me.
How long have you been shooting?
I’ve had a camera around the last 15 years, but around 8 years ago I started learning the “basics” and taking the camera out of auto settings.
What's your favorite subject matter to shoot?
I would say it would be between landscapes, skiing, or cycling adventures.
Where would be your dream location to take photos?
Patagonia in Chile
Who are some photographers that inspire you?
Jeff Johnson, Jimmy Chin, Dylan Gordon and John Watson.
What excites you about photography?
I’m lucky to get to visit some beautiful places. Having an image close to the way I saw it in person really jogs the memories of those places or the adventure I was on when I took it. Plus I really enjoy the creative side of it and trying to come up with unique framing.
