Was there any special preparation required to capture the photo?
We were exploring some of the hot springs in the Eastern Sierra and I thought this path would make for a sick shot!
How long have you been shooting?
I bought my first DSLR 4 years ago when I first moved from Florida to California while in the Navy.
What's your favorite subject matter to shoot?
Surfing, hiking and climbing.
Where would be your dream location to take photos?
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
Who are some photographers that inspire you?
Mathue Voss @captured_by_voss for his drive and total obsession with all things photography. Casey Cooper @cooperlost for his skill set and overall amazing shots. Tony Simonelli @simonellitony for his skills with the drone.
What excites you about photography?
Photography adds a new element to the activities we already enjoy. I love to surf and explore the outdoors, adding a camera to the equation takes them to a whole new level. Freezing a moment and being able to access it forever is the sickest thing ever and is such a powerful tool. Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.
