Camera: iPhone 5

ISO: 25
Was there any special preparation required to capture the photo?
I was backpacking along the John Muir Trail and there was a fire in Yosemite Valley. The smoke had blown south and obscured our views for the evening so we set up camp at Garnet Lake. The next morning the smoke cleared and we were rewarded with this amazing view of Banner Peak.
How long have you been shooting?
I am only a casual photographer, but have always had a love for art and photography.
What's your favorite subject matter to shoot?
My favorite things to take pictures of are definitely clear blue water sources, mountains and my family.
Do you shoot with a crew or shoot solo?
I rarely am ever alone (I have a spouse and two small children). My family crew is pretty fun to shoot and shoot with though.
What excites you about photography?
I love being able to look back at the beautiful places I have been and the memories that come with each photo and to be able to share that with others.
