Camera: Canon EOS R
Lens: Canon 24-70mm
Shutter Speed: 1/80
Aperture: f2.8
ISO: 1250
Was there any special preparation required to capture the photo?
I always try to prepare for my images especially for a sunrise when the outcome is somewhat unknown depending upon conditions. Luckily for this shot the sunrise was the best I've ever witnessed in Yosemite. Thank you to Cody Conk for being a good buddy and standing on the edge for an epic image!
How long have you been shooting?
I've been shooting since high school, 10 years or so.
What's your favorite subject matter to shoot?
Definitely landscapes, I try to travel to national parks as much as I can searching for those epic views.
Who are some photographers that inspire you?
My Father is a big inspiration, he got me into photography and bought me my first DSLR. Some others are my brother Anthony DiFilippo, Cody Conk, Parker Burkett, Paige Tingey and Marylee Burman among many others!
What excites you about photography?
Photography creates lasting memories, my father was always taking photos of us as a family. In my younger years I always thought it was a pain. Now I understand why, so we can look back on those memories for years to come. Whether it's a snapshot of friends and family or a landscape shot photography is meant to tell a story.
