Where was the image shot?
Daniel Boone National Forest, Kentucky

What camera did you use and what were the settings?
Camera: Nikon D750
Lens: 18-35mm
Shutter Speed: 30 sec
Aperture: f/3.5
ISO: 50

Was there any special preparation required to capture the photo?
I had to wait for a good rain to get the flow I was looking for so I hiked into this location early in the morning a couple times to get this shot. It was pretty overcast and super moody but made for great conditions to shoot.

How long have you been shooting?
I started in 2015. I borrowed a Nikon DSLR from a friend and fell in love with it. I saved up and played around with different cameras until I purchased my first full frame Nikon.

What's your favorite subject matter to shoot?
I love photographing all landscapes but if I had to choose I would say astrophotography or waterfalls.

Do you shoot with a crew or shoot solo?
I absolutely love shooting with a crew. I’ve learned so much by being around other photographers. Plus it’s just really good vibes being around a talented group and feeding off all the positive energy.

What excites you about photography?
All of the amazing places and people. Photography has given me such a gift of viewing things in a new way. It’s carried me to places and people I would have never seen or met and allows me to reach people on a different level.
