Not really, just needed to be in the right place at the right time.
How long have you been shooting?
10 years.
What's your favorite subject matter to shoot?
The ocean in all its majesty. I’ve surfed my whole life and there is no better place to be.
Where would be your dream location to take photos?
Fiji, underwater and behind the wave. It's ingrained in my mind.
Who are some photographers that inspire you?
There are way too many to list but first and foremost my son Jake Inez. He is a wizard with film and was actually the one to get me on instagram. Lloyd Meudell, Dane Grady, Phil Thurston, Ty Schmitt, Tom Hawkins and Ray Collins.
What excites you about photography?
The process. There are so many exciting stages of a photo. Shooting it, timing is everything. Reviewing and editing the goods, praying for focused shots and bringing them to life through editing. Sharing, I love being able to bring the ocean to people through my eyes and seeing their reaction.
