Where was the image shot?
The Scottish Highlands, U.K.

What camera did you use and what were the settings?
Camera: Canon 5D Mark IV
Lens: Canon 70-200mm
Shutter Speed: 1/500
Aperture: f/4.0
ISO: 200

Was there any special preparation required to capture the photo?
Trying not to scare the stag was the main requirement, otherwise I’d either end up with it running away, or an antler coming towards me in attack mode!

How long have you been shooting?
I’ve been shooting for roughly 7 years. Since the age of 15 I dove into it with all I had.

What's your favorite subject matter to shoot?
The outdoors, and the subjects it attracts with a specific adventure in mind.

Where would be your dream location to take photos?
Kyrgyzstan’s vast wild landscape, Mongolia’s eagle hunters or The Rockies in North America. Basically anywhere with a unique landscape hosting an array of different characters, that requires some determination to get there.

Who are some photographers that inspire you?
A whole host of photographers inspire me: from Montana USA you’ve got Alex Strohl, from somewhere, usually in a van and in the US there’s James Barkman, you’ve got Jimmy Chin, Finn Beales from the U.K. and so many more.

What excites you about photography?
The prospect to document trips and expeditions in your own style is a big one for me. You can always grow and learn in this kind of creative field.
