Waiting for the sunlight to illuminate the eagle but not the background. Shot literally all day for this image.

45 years.

What's your favorite subject matter to shoot?
Wildlife. Specifically, Alaska Brown Bears and Humpback Whales.

Where would be your dream location to take photos?
The Alaskan coast.

Who are some photographers that inspire you?
Ansel Adams, Nick Nichols and Paul Childress.

What excites you about photography?
The thrill of the hunt for wildlife doing something extraordinary, and then the reward of watching and capturing the moment!
