Was there any special preparation required to capture the photo?
Coffee, breakfast and a want to go explore for the day. Guess I also made sure I had a map, charged camera batteries and a new memory card.
How long have you been shooting?
Bought my first digital camera and began shooting photography back in 2014.
What's your favorite subject matter to shoot?
Any and all things nature. Usually, I set out to get landscape shots, but I’m easily distracted by wildlife, cool nature patterns and anything else that catches my eye.
Where would be your dream location to take photos?
Right now, my dream location is Iceland. Just looks like such a magical place!
Who are some photographers that inspire you?
First would be my uncle who introduced me to photography. Some of my other inspiration comes from the likes of Jimmy Chin, Paul Nicklen, Hordur Kristleifsson, Ansel Adams, my girlfriend and literally someone new every day.
What excites you about photography?
Photography excites me by having the ability to capture and portray something just the way you see it, or want to see it. It’s just you, your camera and the ability to capture the spontaneity of what life throws at you.
