Where was the image shot?
I shot it while driving the Alpine Loop Byway near American Fork, Utah.
What camera did you use and what were the settings?
Camera: Sony A6000
Lens: Zeiss 24-70mm
Shutter Speed: 1/4000
Was there any special preparation required to capture the photo?
Nothing specific. I always try to be ready when a moment arises to shoot! (Basically, my camera never leaves my side.)
How long have you been shooting?
I have been shooting seriously for almost four years, but I've been following several photographers and learning the art of photography for six to seven years prior to that.
What's your camera of choice?
I started by shooting on Canon systems, but last year I made the transition to my Sony A6000 and haven’t looked back! It is so lightweight and fast. However, I believe the best camera is always the one you have with you.
What’s your favorite subject matter to shoot?
I love to capture landscapes. I'm also into macro photography.
Do you shoot with a crew or shoot solo?
Most of the time I shoot solo.
What excites you about photography?
I love to be able to use the world around me to create something. Photography has provided me with an outlet for both creativity and meditation.
