Where was the image shot?
Lofoten Islands, Norway

What camera did you use and what were the settings?
Camera: Sony a7 II
Lens: Laowa 12mm
Shutter Speed: 30 sec
Aperture: f16
ISO: 1000

Was there any special preparation required to capture the photo?
Actually no, the idea came on the spot. It was a full moon and the northern lights were out. Because the lights were so strong I decided to include the moon and give it a try.

How long have you been shooting?
I have been shooting since 2001 but since 2004 I started taking it more seriously.

What's your favorite subject matter to shoot?
Landscapes and water are my favorite. I love waterfalls and everything I can use a long exposure for.

Where would be your dream location to take photos?
New Zealand and Canada are on the very top of my bucket list.

Who are some photographers that inspire you?
Some photographers worth mentioning are Daniel Kordan, Colby Brown, Patrick Di Fruscia and Catherine Simard but I have a much bigger list because the world is full of talent.

What excites you about photography?
Since I’m a landscape photographer I get to travel and be in nature a lot. That is what I enjoy the most, when I can go to a location and enjoy not only the photography but also the location. I like that we don’t always get what we want due to the weather and that nature makes us “fight” for some of the images we capture.
