What camera did you use and what were the settings?

Lens: Canon 70-200mm

Aperture: f/5.6
ISO: 200
Was there any special preparation required to capture the photo?
It was a strike mission to shoot the biggest Mavericks swell in the last decade. The swell was forecasted to be 55ft and we unknowingly commissioned a very sketchy small boat to take us out. The engine cut out multiple times on the way out as well as when we were out there. Ultimately the boat captain was a boss and handled it, but it was definitely an adrenaline rush being out there.
How long have you been shooting?
I’ve been shooting photos since high school, but I’ve been working as a photographer for the last 5 years.
What's your favorite subject matter to shoot?
I love photographing everything especially subjects I’ve never shot before. Being an ocean dweller I’m naturally obsessed with shooting in the water, but I’m also very passionate about capturing landscapes and anything outdoors related.
Do you shoot with a crew or shoot solo?
On average, I’m usually shooting with a surfer, so that’d be a two person team! Huge shoutout to all the surfers out there making us surf photographers look good.
