Devil Winds, 2007
1 of 31
During the Fall of 2007 the combination of Southern California wildfires, Santa Ana winds and swell in the Pacific Ocean created some amazing surf conditions along the Southern California coastline. The smoke filled sky mixed with random bursts of sunshine and howling winds made the typical surf lineup look surreal. This collection of images was taken between Huntington Beach and San Clemente during a three day period in October. Photos by Andrew Sarnecki.
