Was there any special preparation required to capture the photo?
This photo required a two-day backpacking trip to capture. The hike was around 9 miles with a vertical gain of around 3000ft.
How long have you been shooting?
I have been shooting since May 2020.
What's your favorite subject matter to shoot?
I have a passion for adventure photography. I love capturing my explorations, both landscapes along with friends and family enjoying moments in wild places.
Where would be your dream location to take photos?
I would love to travel to Vancouver Island in British Columbia.
Who are some photographers that inspire you?
I am inspired by many photographers. Ansel Adams is probably at the top of the list due to the high quality prints he published during such an early era of landscape photography.
What excites you about photography?
Photography for me is a way of trying to fix life’s fleeting moments as they pass in order to keep what’s vital from being lost. It's very exciting to enjoy a passion that allows me to learn something new each time I pick up my camera.
