Lens: Sony 55mm

Aperture: f6.7
ISO: 100
Was there any special preparation required to capture the photo?
Not really. I had just picked up that lens and it was my first time shooting in the water with it. I waited for the light to be right and got lucky.
How long have you been shooting?
I've been shooting since 2011.
What's your favorite subject matter to shoot?
Waves, without a doubt. Anything related to the ocean really, whether it’s surfing, empty barrels or landscape. I'm also into architecture.
Where would be your dream location to take photos?
Alaska during a big swell.
Who are some photographers that inspire you?
Craig Stecyk, Chris Burkard, Ray Collins.
What excites you about photography?
Literally everything about it. The endless amount of perspective and ever changing light will always be an exciting challenge. I also enjoy the fact that photography is super individualized in style and aesthetic. No one can really win at photography, it's all perspective.
