Was there any special preparation required to capture the photo?
This break is quite a dangerous reef break so the only preparation is mentally.
How long have you been shooting?
10 years.
What's your favorite subject matter to shoot?
I’m obsessed with shooting empty waves big or small. It doesn't really matter as long as I’m in the water and it’s usually at sunrise.
Where would be your dream location to take photos?
It’s my dream to be able to shoot Teahupoo in Tahiti from the water one day.

Warren Keelan, Jason Fenmore and Ben Thouard.
What excites you about photography?
My passion for water photography is driven by my love of travel, the adventure of a road trip and planning images in my head according to conditions. No two waves are the same and images can highlight their power and beauty.
